Day 2: I have had a bit of a wander around Hamburg, first with a new Russian friend I have made, shes lovely. We went to some of the churches like St Jacobi, St Petri and St Katharine’s Church; and walking tour around the city, to the Chile Haus (built because Hamburg once did a lot of trading with Chile), City Hall (which was built on over 6,000 oak trees to stop it from sinking as it’s so heavy). I had another walk alone around Altona and along the water, stumbled upon the Alter Elbtunnel (that goes under the water to Steinwerder, and there’s a car lift up to the road – I really loved it here for some reason!), then I walked down the Reeperbahn (known for it’s ‘sex, drugs and rock-n-roll’)! Ooooooh lovely Hamburg and it’s so hot here.
